Unveiling Lerinn's Key Ingredients: Amino Acid Surfactant

Amino acid surfactants are considered to be mild and gentle cleansing agents on the skin.
They are acquired by condensation of natural amino acids (which are the building blocks of proteins - similar structure to the proteins in skin) with fatty acids. Examples of amino acid surfactants include potassium cocoyl glycinate, sodium cocoyl glutamate, and etc.

Amino acid surfactants offer benefits for skincare products, such as:
  1. Cleansing
Amino acid surfactants are effective at removing dirt, oil and other impurities from the skin without causing irritation. Plus, they can produce a rich and dense foaming lather that leaves skin a more indulgent and luxurious feeling while cleansing.

  2. Skin friendly
Amino acid surfactants are skin friendly and suitable for sensitive and delicate skin because of their unique structure. They won’t damage or disturb the skin's barrier, and will give skin a softening and moisturizing feeling after washing.

  3. Environmentally friendly
Amino acid surfactants are derived from natural sources, such as coconut oil, etc. They are biodegradable that can be naturally reintegrated back into the ecosystem, making them more environmentally friendly.

Lerinn Milky Cleansing Foam was specially designed as an instant foaming cleanser with a high percentage of amino acid surfactants. It is good for all skin types, especially for sensitive skin. It provides you with a creamy foam texture and luxury experiences while cleansing.
